We had a lovely stay at a charming cottage in a beautiful location. The decor was charming and in-keeping with a country retreat. The owner even left basic food on our arrival, which was a nice touch. The cottage had everything we needed and the hosts were extremely helpful. It was an overall great holiday in the lakes. We would definitely consider staying again and recommending the property to others.
The intermittent internet connection, but honestly, being disconnected digitally for a few days actually added to our holiday with family.

The cottage itself was exceptionally clean, well maintained, and decorated to a high standard. The beds were very comfortable and there were plenty of pillows. The cottage was very cosy and well appointed, making it a comfortable and quiet base for exploring the surrounding area. The owners communicated excellently and even provided milk, tea, and biscuits upon arrival. The location was ideal, with a pub and local store nearby, and it was easy to reach both the coast and the lakes.
The cottage could have benefited from more cooking utensils and an extra seat in the living room, as it was a bit cramped for four people. the television was quite old and the picture appeared small on the large screen.

The cottage was in a great location, making it easy to explore the surrounding areas. There were plenty of activities nearby for children, such as castles, wildlife centers, and aquariums. The cottage itself was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and ample pillows. The communication with the owner was friendly and helpful, and the instructions for appliances and heating were clear. The provision of tea, sugar, and milk upon arrival was a nice touch, and parking at the nearby village hall was convenient.
While the cottage had most amenities, it would have been useful to have a bath mat provided. a small freezer in the fridge would have been a convenient addition.

We got great value for our money at Inglenook Cottage - a lovely and comfortable stay with excellent heating and all the necessary amenities, including a washing machine. The location was perfect for exploring the beautiful Lake District, and the reception staff, although contactless, were friendly and communicative through the app.
The morning meal could have been improved with a better variety of options.

We stayed at Inglenook Cottage for a week to explore the beautiful South Lakes area. The cottage was cosy, well-appointed, and had great facilities. The three bedrooms provided ample space for our group of four adults. The location was ideal, just a short drive away from Grange and the stunning lakes and valleys. Communication with the owners was excellent, and the added Christmas tree was a lovely touch. Highly recommended!
Couldn't recommend this hotel more!

The cottage was spotless and comfortable, providing a homely feel. The spacious kitchen with a dining table was well-equipped, and there was ample parking outside. The location was great, with nearby attractions like Windermere and Fell Foot Park just a short drive away. The friendly hosts were responsive, and the welcome pack was a nice touch. I highly recommend Inglenook Cottage for exploring the Lakes District.
Could not be improved in any way. 🌟

The cottage was beautifully decorated, blending traditional and modern features perfectly. It felt cosy and homely, providing a comfortable atmosphere during our stay. The spacious kitchen with a dining table and chairs was a great asset, and it was equipped with everything we needed for cooking our meals. The cleanliness of the cottage was impeccable, which made us feel really comfortable and at ease during our stay. the location was ideal with ample parking available both outside the cottage and across the road in a car park.
While there weren't any major issues, there were a couple of minor things that could have been improved. The bath only featured a shower head, which could be a matter of personal preference, but I would have preferred a proper shower.

Beautifully decorated cottage with a comfortable bed and lovely woolen cushions on the sofa. Quaint and peaceful location, allowing for freedom to come and go as desired.
Poor internet connection and lack of WiFi, resulting in difficulty planning activities without access to information. Limited information on how to get around the village on foot, causing some confusion and inconvenience.
